Although they haven't played any shows, Secret Dyke has been putting together collaboration via email tracks since 2009. Here's one of those tracks over a video I made for them about a year ago...
A collection of various noise characters from New Brunswick, NJ, and the outlying areas of weird.

ASPS (2009)
I posted an ASPS set from 2008 a few weeks back, thinking it was the only one I had. I found another video of a whole set from June 21, 2009 at Meat Town. Sorry it's in black and white; there was a problem encoding the video and now it looks all artsy and shit.
King Darves (2006, 2009)
I've already posted a few Darves/Jenny Haniver videos, but this is the earliest set I have by him. Recorded on November 10, 2006 at World Trade Slayer on Comstock St, I think this might have been the first time I had a camera at one of his acoustic sets:
This next set was recorded at Meat Town on June 15, 2009 and is, so far, the most recent video I have of him... More from this set might follow as I go over the tape.

Mir (2009)
Mir is Matt of Sociotree, formerly of AWAKE and Pigeon Language, part time east coast resident, part time Spain dweller, playing a mix of samplers, pedals, and guitars. This set was also at Meat Town, alongside Cache, Twan's Dream, and Slasher Risk on June 27, 2009.
Cache (2009)
A Nutley, NJ native/Jersey City resident, Tiana plays as Cache here in this video recorded at Meat Town on June 27, 2009, during a show that also featured Twan's Dream, Mir, and Slasher Risk.

Dave Sutton (2009)
Dave Sutton of Car Commercials, Current Amnesia, and many other New Brunswick projects, plays here at a show in New Brunswick on June 21, 2009 with little more than his laptop, a mixer, and a few pedals to a basement full of weirdos. I can't remember much about this particular show, so I'll just post the video.

The Brown Christmas - Avant Garde Film (2007-2009)
Another film by members of The Brown Christmas, this time 70+ minutes long and simply titled "Avant-Gard Film." This is a surrealist journey through the life of two unnamed men going through all the moves of life, including dreaming, cooking breakfast, getting a job, infedelity, birth, revenge, and the like. Scored by The Brown Christmas, starring JoeMazing, and also starring and directed by Michael Barankovich, this is pretty fuckin' awesome.
Again, Brown Acres Productions/The Brown Christmas come through with something weird as hell and totally awesome.

The Brown Christmas - Hipster Day (2009)
In the aptly-named Hipster Day mocumentary by The Brown Christmas, the band covers a wide range of the Hipster interpretation of various aspects of life, including having kids, soul music, sex, food, and the art of noise. The obviously tongue-in-cheek style this film uses is the perfect form of meta-irony used against a culture that fucking thrives on it. All music used in this is from their 2009 release, "Vegan Chinese Food," available from Brown Acres Records, which can be brought to you by the dudes themselves here or here.
Here, in all 7 glorious parts, is Hipster Day.

King Darves (2007, 2009)
There's not much to say about King Darves that hasn't already been said, and said much, much better that I can ever say, so I'll keep it simple. He can be contacted here and his LP "The Sun Splits For .. The Blind Swimmer" can be picked up here.
This first video is from a show at Mutiny's House on High St. in New Brunswick on October 12, 2007.
This next video is from a show under the NJ Transit bridge in Highland Park, NJ on June 12, 2009.

Twan's Dream (2009)
From the denizens of Highland Park that bring us Bone Tooth Horn records, Current Amnesia, and Car Commercials, Twan's Dream performs here at Meat Town in New Brunswick on June 27, 2009. Also playing that night were Slasher Risk, Mir, and Cache, whose videos I will post in the near future.

Trevor Pennsylvania (2007, 2009)
Trevor Pennsylvania, frontman of the Human Adult Band and the freak behind dihd records, is performing two solo sets here. The first was at the now-defunct burrito shop on Easton Ave in New Brunswick (where I used to work), recorded on November 3, 2007.
This second set was recorded on July 15, 2009 at Meat Town. Other bands that night included Dead Girl History and (although I have no idea why) We Are The Seahorses.
